LEN ERICKSON (Host) – For 10 years, Len Erickson has been hosting mornings on WLKF. Len has more than 30 years of broadcasting and journalism experience. He started his career in the U.S. Army as a broadcast journalist in the Republic of Korea. Hosting a daily morning show and shooting news videos were just part of a military broadcaster’s day. As part of the American Forces Korea Network, Len was awarded a worldwide AFRTS (Armed Forces Radio and Television Service) third-place Keith L. Ware (the military broadcaster’s excellence award) for best regularly scheduled program for his morning show.
After leaving the military, various radio and TV jobs cropped up along with raising a family. He had an 11-year stint as a photojournalist and editor at NewsChannel 8, the NBC TV affiliate in Tampa. Len has been with Hall Communications since November 2008
NICK ALLRED (Co-Host) – A Lakeland native Nick graduated from Harrison School of the Arts where he went on to pursue his Bachelors in Animation at Savanah College of Art and Design. Nick moved to New York City where he worked on various television productions including, The Celebrity Apprentice, while fundraising for various causes and performing stand-up around Manhattan.
Since returning to Lakeland in 2016, Nick started a live trivia show Hold On I Know This! and has ventured into woodworking creating furniture pieces. This led to launching a YouTube channel dedicated to making tutorial videos for various woodworking and DIY projects along with interactive trivia videos.
LAURIANNE CICCARELLI (Co-Host) – Lauriane joined Talk Radio 96.7 in the summer of 2022. A graduate of Stetson University College of Law, Lauriane and has been involved in thousands of Eminent Domain cases in addition to practicing in the areas of Real Estate, Estate Planning and General Civil Litigation. She joined the Law Firm of Troiano and Roberts in March of 2004
Lauriane has been on the Board of Campfire USA, and which is a youth-based organization that teaches leadership skills to young boys and girls, and she is a Past President of the organization. Lauriane was also a member of the American Business Women’s Association, Lakeland Downtown Chapter, Vice President 2014-2015 and then President 2015-2016, and Business Network International, Business in Motion Chapter, President 2014-2015.
Lauriane is currently on the Board of Just Cares, Inc. She is married and has a son named Austin.
BILL MUTZ (contributor) – Bill is the mayor of Lakeland. He joins Polk County Live on a regular basis to discuss city happening and projects in the works with his office and the city commission.
GRADY JUDD (contributor) – Polk County Sheriff Judd is a Polk County Live regular with his popular stories of stupid criminals and their antics. The sheriff also addresses issues relating to law enforcement and Polk County. There’s only one Sheriff Grady Judd!
BARRY FRIEDMAN (contributor) – Barry is the founder and editor-in-chief of LkldNow.com, the local website dedicated to Lakeland news and happenings. Hear the stories behind the news with Barry on Polk County Live.
BRUCE ANDERSON (contributor) – Dr. Bruce Anderson is Polk County Live’s political analyst. He is the Dr. Sarah D and L Kirk McKay Jr. Endowed Chair in American History, Government, and Civics at Florida Southern College.
NEAL DUNCAN (contributor) – Neal is the senior events and sales manager for Polk County Tourism and Sports Marketing. Neal is your source for local and regional sports, along with other events planned for Polk County.
GARY CLARK (contributor) – Colonel Clark, USAF Retired, is head of the Polk County Veterans Council. Colonel Clark is Polk County Live’s source for all things relating to our Polk County veterans.
JIM McGUIRE (contributor) – As the Polk County Live science guy, Jim is on top of everything in outer space from the moon and beyond. Science is cool!
